Liebe TOPCAT Segler, Bekannte und Unbekannte!
Es ist uns eine Ehre, seit mehr als 2 Jahren Mitglied dieser Association zu sein. Zum ersten Mal laden wir alle nach Ungarn ein, an den malerischen Velence-See.
Wenn Sie noch nichts von uns gehört haben, lesen Sie bitte den Einführungsartikel im ITCA-Jahrbuch 2019. Unser Segelverein, der Velence Katamaran Klub, lädt Sie zu einer besonderen Regatta ein!
Wir nennen sie die ”Velence Catamaran Grünes Band” Regatta.
Im Gegensatz zu den üblichen Bojenrunden passieren wir bei dieser Regattatour auf einer 18 km langen Strecke drei Kontrollpunkte. Weil es dabei über den ganzen See geht, ergeben sich im Vergleich zu den üblichen Regattakursen zusätzliche Herausforderungen wie Strömung, Windabdeckungen, seichte Stellen sowie enge Durchfahrten zwischen Schilfinseln etc. Das macht den besonderen Reiz dieser Veranstaltung aus.

Das Klubgelände
Direkt am Wasser befindet sich ein geschlossener Bereich, der für die Veranstaltung reserviert ist. Hier können Trailer und Wohnmobil stehen. WC, Dusche und 220 V sind vorhanden.
Sonstige Beherbergungsmöglichkeiten: Ein Chalet kann auf einem Campingplatz in unmittelbarer Strandnähe gemietet werden.

It is a privilege for us to be the members of this community for more than two years.
With great affection, we are inviting all of you for the first time to Hungary to the picturesque Lake Velence. If you have not heard of us yet, please read the introductory article in the ITCA Yearbook of 2019.
Our sailing club, the Catamaran Association of Venice, invites you to a special regatta.
The dates of the competition are 31 August to 1 September 2019,
Deviating from the customary triangular pattern we are inviting you to an interesting sailing trip. You will have to pass through three checkpoints during the 18 km long trip sailing around the entire lake. This is the Catamaran Green Ribbon - Round the Lake Velence Race.
The time plan of the event is outlined in the announcement of competition.
The event will be organized in Gárdony at the Sport Beach where there is a secured area on the coastline with direct access to the water.
There you can park your trailers and caravans. At this area you will have access to toilets, showers and electricity (220 V).
Further accommodation facilities are available in the campsite next to the beach where bungalows can also be rented. In case of need we can assist in renting other types of accommodation (e.g. hotel rooms). Please indicate your preferred choice on the application form.
To make the preparation easier for us, we ask you to register as soon as possible.
